Universal problem of dandruff. Here you get "how to get rid of dandruff".

Dandruff is itchy, white flakes of skin on scalp, it
 can be irritating and embarrassing to deal with.

Dandruff issues are found in almost every person. It is very common problem so you definitely don't need to be embarrassed of it.

You can get rid of dandruff with easy and less time consuming remedies.

There are plenty of ready made products to cure dandruff like anti dandruff shampoos but natural products works as same.

                      Causes of Dandruff:

  • Dry Skin
  • Over Oily Skin
  • Infrequent Shampooing

1. Lemon:

* Lemon Balances the PH of scalp to keep dandruff at bay.
* Removes Excess Oil.
* Strengthen hair Follicles.
There are two ways to use lemon for dandruff.

Direct application:

Cut the lemon into two half , either you can extract the juice or use directly with lemon's skin. Using with skin is way more easier. Apply the lemon juice to the scalp as a pre shampoo treatment.

Leave it for few minutes to allow the lemon to penetrate the half follicles and skin. Afterwards wash your hair with warm water and use mild shampoo.
You can repeat this method once in a week.

Mix with other ingredients:

Some people use other ingredients with lemon to increase the benefit. like coconut oil, almond oil, honey and sugar.
Sugar is good for exfoliating scalp.
Please don't do anything before patch test. It can be beneficial and helpful for some but it won't suit some.

2. Coconut Oil:

We know dandruff happens because of dryness in our hair. It is Simple and easy way to get rid of dandruff.

Get some coconut oil and heat it for 5sec, then massage it on your scalp for 5-10 mins.
Don't take too much oil because it'll also increase dandruff because too much oil is not good for our scalp, it'll reduce the natural oil of our scalp.

If you have dry or combination scalp then you should definitely go for oiling once in a week. Then wash your hair with warm water and use mild shampoo to remove oil the excess oil from hair.

3. Start washing your hair often:

We live in a world where dry shampoo is found everywhere and it is used by most of the people but using dry shampoo more and not washing your hair isn't healthy.

You need to wash you hair often because if you don't wash your hair then the dirt and dead skin cells are all collected on your scalp and dirty scalp creates more oil and it increases dandruff to next level.

Don't over wash your hair because it decreases the natural oil from hair. So, washing you hair twice a week is good and recommended. You can wash when you feel its greasy.
Generally, people who workout a lot and goes out on daily basis needs to wash there hair every alternative day, that ratio is also not harmful.

4. Try Exfoliating Your Scalp:

Yes, exfoliating is a thing, much like body exfoliating.
Why do we exfoliate our body?
Because exfoliating your body helps in removing the upper dirty layer.

Similar to that exfoliating your scalp gently lift the top layer of dry skin. Scalp exfoliators typically remove dead skin with either small amount of salicylic acid or granules that dissolve.

Dr. Gabriel recommends using an exfoliating hair scrub on wet, shampooed hair twice a week, and being certain to read the directions so you leave it on the hair for the right length of time.
